1. About These Terms
These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) govern your registration for and attendance at BOARD, the business summit taking place at the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco, from 22 to 24 March 2027 (the “Event”).
The Event is organised by Board Summits Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17019177, whose registered office is at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom (“Board Summits”, “we”, “us” or “our”). You can contact us at info@boardsummits.com.
By registering for a Pass, completing the online registration form, or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not register or attend.
These Terms apply to all pass types, including all delegate pass tiers, speaker passes, and media passes. Where any provision applies specifically to a particular pass type, this is stated explicitly. Otherwise, all provisions apply to all participants.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Website Terms of Use, all available at our website. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any other document, these Terms prevail in relation to your attendance at the Event.
2. Eligibility
The Event is a professional business summit and is open to business professionals only. By registering, you confirm that you are acting in a professional or business capacity and not as a consumer. Passes are not available to private individuals attending for personal purposes.
Board Summits reserves the right to verify the professional credentials of any registrant at any time and to refuse or cancel registration if we reasonably consider that eligibility requirements are not met. Any fees paid in connection with a cancelled registration will not be refunded.
Registrations on behalf of another individual are permitted only where the registering party confirms that the attendee has been made aware of and has accepted these Terms.
3. Passes and Registration
3.1 Availability and Accuracy
All passes to the Event are subject to availability. Board Summits reserves the right to limit the number of passes available for any pass type at any time without notice.
You warrant that all information you provide during registration is accurate, complete, and up to date. A pass is valid for the named individual only. You must not misrepresent your professional role, seniority, or any other eligibility criterion in order to qualify for a particular pass type. Board Summits reserves the right to adjust your pass category and issue a revised invoice if we determine that the pass type purchased does not correspond to your actual eligibility.
3.2 Personal and Non-Transferable
Passes are personal and strictly non-transferable. A pass may not be sold, gifted, lent, shared, transferred, or otherwise made available to any person other than the named pass holder.
Any pass used by a person other than the named holder may be cancelled without notice or refund. Board Summits is not obliged to replace a pass that has been lost, stolen, or damaged.
Passes must not be used by any person, company, or third party for marketing, media, sale promotion, staff reward programmes, prize draws, competitions, or other commercial or non-commercial incentive purposes, except with the prior written consent of Board Summits.
3.3 Badge Use
Your event badge must be worn and visibly displayed at all times within Event areas. Badges remain the property of Board Summits. You must not alter, reproduce, or tamper with your badge in any way.
Badge scanning by exhibitors and sponsors constitutes your opt-in consent for your professional registration information to be shared with the scanning party for commercial purposes. You may decline badge scanning at any time. Further information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
4. Fees and Payment
All fees are due and payable in full at the time of registration, or by such date as specified in a written invoice issued by Board Summits. Registration is not confirmed until full payment has been received.
All fees are stated exclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes. You are responsible for all applicable taxes in connection with your registration. VAT will be charged at the applicable rate and added to your invoice.
If payment is not received by the due date, Board Summits reserves the right to void your registration and offer your place to another registrant. Any pass issued in advance of payment may be deactivated pending receipt of payment.
Board Summits reserves the right to alter pass pricing at any time. The price applicable to your registration is that in force at the time of confirmed payment. Price changes do not apply retroactively to completed purchases.
5. No Refunds
All pass sales are final. Board Summits does not offer refunds, except where required by law. Without limiting the foregoing, no refund will be payable in the following circumstances:
-
inability to attend due to personal circumstances, illness (including any COVID-19-related condition or other communicable disease), or injury;
-
failure to obtain a visa or any other travel document required for travel to France or Monaco;
-
changes to travel arrangements or accommodation;
-
changes to the Event programme, speakers, or content;
-
technical or connectivity issues experienced by the attendee;
-
any other circumstance beyond the control of Board Summits.
The Event is not open to consumers within the meaning of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or equivalent legislation. Statutory consumer cancellation rights do not apply to registrations for the Event. For the avoidance of doubt, Board Summits may treat a registration as made in a business capacity where the registrant has provided a business email address, company name, or job title in connection with their registration. Board Summits reserves the right to decline any registration it reasonably considers to have been made in a consumer capacity.
6. Event Changes and Cancellation
6.1 Changes by Board Summits
Board Summits reserves the right to make changes to the Event at any time, including changes to the programme, speakers, sessions, format, content, venue layout, and timing. Such changes do not give rise to any right of cancellation or refund. Your pass remains valid for the Event as altered.
6.2 Postponement
If the Event is postponed by Board Summits for any reason, your pass will remain valid for the Event at its revised date. No refund will be payable. No compensation will be due in respect of any costs incurred by you, including travel, accommodation, or visa costs.
6.3 Cancellation by Board Summits
If Board Summits cancels the Event entirely and does not announce a future edition to which your pass may be transferred, Board Summits will issue you with a credit equal to the face value of your pass, to be applied against registration fees for a future Board Summits event. If no suitable future edition is announced within 12 months of the cancellation date, you may request a cash refund equal to the face value of your pass by contacting info@boardsummits.com. Such request must be made within 6 months of the expiry of the 12-month period.
If Board Summits cancels the Event and announces a replacement or successor edition, your pass will automatically transfer to that edition. You will not be entitled to a refund.
Board Summits shall not be liable for any loss, cost, or expense incurred by you as a consequence of any postponement or cancellation, including travel, accommodation, or any other cost associated with your intended attendance.
6.4 Force Majeure
Board Summits shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond its reasonable control within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code (Code civil) and equivalent provisions of Monégasque law, including acts of God, adverse weather, pandemic, epidemic, government action or restriction, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, or failure of infrastructure or utilities. In such circumstances, the provisions of clause 6.2 or 6.3 above shall apply as appropriate.
7. Attendance and Conduct
7.1 Entry Requirements
You must carry a valid form of photographic identification at all times during the Event. Board Summits and venue security personnel reserve the right to request identification at any time. If you are unable to provide identification that matches your registered pass, you may be refused entry or required to leave the Event without refund.
You must comply with all security and safety procedures applicable to the Event and to the venue, including any screening, bag checks, or other security measures. Refusal to comply with security procedures will result in denial of entry without refund.
The following items are strictly prohibited within Event premises: weapons of any kind; explosive, flammable, or volatile substances; bottles or hard-sided containers; sharp objects; signs, banners, or placards of any nature; any item that could reasonably be used as a projectile; and any item likely to cause a disturbance or endanger health or safety. Any person found to be in possession of such items will be immediately excluded from the Event without refund.
7.2 Removal from the Event
Board Summits reserves the right to refuse admission to, or to remove from, the Event any participant at any time and without prior notice, without refund or compensation, where Board Summits reasonably determines that the participant has:
-
breached any provision of these Terms;
-

Any determination by Board Summits under this clause shall be final. Board Summits accepts no liability for any costs or losses incurred as a result of a refusal of entry or removal from the Event.
7.3 Code of Conduct
All participants are required to behave professionally and respectfully at all times. The Event must be a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all. Board Summits prohibits harassment, bullying, and discrimination in any form, including:
-

8.1 Prohibition on Unauthorised Commercial Activity
A delegate pass, speaker pass, or media pass entitles the holder to attend the Event as a registered participant only. It does not grant any right to conduct commercial, promotional, marketing, or trading activities at, near, or in connection with the Event.
Without the prior written consent of Board Summits, you must not:

You may not film, photograph, or record any part of the Event for commercial, promotional, or broadcast purposes without the prior written consent of Board Summits. Board Summits reserves the right to charge a fee for any such activity. This restriction applies regardless of the equipment used.
Nothing in this clause prevents participants from taking personal photographs or making incidental recordings for private, non-commercial use, provided that such activity does not interfere with the Event or with other participants.
8.3 Attendee Data
Scraping, harvesting, or collecting the contact details or other personal data of other participants from the Event app, networking platform, or any other Event system for the purposes of unsolicited outreach, bulk marketing, or spam is strictly prohibited. Participants who engage in such conduct may be removed from the Event without refund and may be subject to legal action under applicable data protection and anti-spam legislation.
8.4 Enforcement
Breach of this clause 8 will be treated as a material breach of these Terms. Board Summits reserves the right to immediately remove any participant engaged in unauthorised commercial or promotional activity from the Event without refund, and to pursue any available legal remedies. Board Summits may also charge a retroactive sponsorship or exhibition fee for any unauthorised commercial activity that has taken place.
