8. Third-Party Content
The Website may include content provided by sponsors, exhibitors, partners, and other third parties, including logos, promotional material, and embedded videos. Such content is provided for information only and does not constitute an endorsement by Board Summits Ltd of the third party or their products and services.
We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any third-party content displayed on the Website, and we accept no liability in connection with it. If you believe any third-party content on the Website infringes your rights, please contact us at info@boardsummits.com.
The Website may contain links to third-party websites. Those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Links are provided for convenience only and do not imply any endorsement.
9. User-Submitted Content
Where the Website allows you to upload or submit content - including profile information, photographs, biographical details, and other material - you retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and reproduce that content for the purposes of operating the Website and promoting the BOARD event.
By submitting content to the Website, you represent and warrant that:
-
you own or have the necessary rights to submit the content;
-
the content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of any third party;
-
the content is accurate and not misleading; and
-
the content does not contain any material that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.
We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content at any time without notice if we consider it to be in breach of these Terms or otherwise inappropriate.
To the extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights you may have in content you submit to the Website, including the right to be identified as its author and the right to object to derogatory treatment, for the purposes of its use by us as described in these Terms.
10. Privacy and Cookies
Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and available at www.boardsummits.com. By using the Website you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
11. Disclaimers
The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions, and representations of any kind - whether express, implied, or statutory - in relation to the Website, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Website will be secure, free from bugs, or uninterrupted. Information on the Website relating to the BOARD event - including speaker details, session content, agenda, venue information, and pricing - is subject to change at any time without notice and should not be relied upon as definitive or complete. We accept no responsibility for any action taken in reliance on information on the Website.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, Board Summits Ltd shall not be liable - whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise - for any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the Website shall not exceed £100 or the total amount paid by you to Board Summits Ltd in connection with the Website (if any), whichever is higher.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Board Summits Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website, your breach of these Terms, or any content you submit to the Website, but only to the extent caused by your breach or wrongful act.
14. Linking to This Website
You may link to the home page of the Website, provided that you do so in a way that is fair and legal, does not damage or take unfair advantage of our reputation, and does not suggest any form of association, approval, or endorsement on our part where none exists. You must not establish a link to the Website from any site that you do not own or have permission to use, or in a way that frames or mirrors any part of the Website on another site.
We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission at any time without notice.
15. Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe that any content on the Website infringes your intellectual property rights or other legal rights, please notify us in writing at info@boardsummits.com. Your notice should include: your name and contact details; identification of the content you believe to be infringing and its location on the Website; a description of the right you claim is being infringed; a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised; and a statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
We will investigate valid complaints and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the relevant content. We may also pass your complaint to the relevant third-party content provider where applicable.
16. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably consider that you have breached these Terms, that your use of the Website is causing harm or risk to us or others, or for any other legitimate operational or legal reason. On termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will cease immediately. We may also remove or disable any content you have submitted to the Website in connection with a suspension or termination. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose prior to the date of termination.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on the Website. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Website after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, provided that nothing in this clause shall prevent us from seeking injunctive or other urgent relief in any jurisdiction.
These Terms are written in English. If they are translated into any other language, the English language version shall prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the versions.
